- While I know that the Sportsters sell mainly to the PC market, I'd
- think that their Couriers would be selling a fair bit to some Unix or
- similar markets, which is why I'm somewhat suprised at the lack of support
- for these OSes. That being said, USR has (or at least had) their Courier
- on-line manuals availible in ASCII format, although the last copy I got
- was all messed up. As for the USR Courier Flasher programs, well it seems
- that USR made some really poor descisions early on that locked them into
- their current method of Flashing with a specific program instead of with
- an ASCII or Xmodem or similar upload. Since there are just WAY too many
- OSes out there to make an upgrade program for all of them, it's not
- suprising USR hasn't made too much of an effort, although they really
- should get some kind of Mac upgrade program.
